I enjoyed this book a lot, especially when I learned that the Brixton Brothers were only one person. But let's get to that sentence. "The inside of the Red Herring was shabby and dim and smell like beards."
There are other quite good sentences in the book, but I think this is the best. Even better, the book is free of any dead mother nonsense. Hah! Take that, you cliche users!
